Christmas Update

Our Christmas was really great this year.  It was small and simple, but also fun.   We both had to work Christmas eve so we didn't really get to celebrate until later that night.  We had all our Christmas shopping done the previous week but were asked to do a sub for santa so we went out and faced the crowds on Christmas eve to shop for this family.  It was a great experience for us and we had so much fun just throwing things in the cart to make someones Christmas.  That night I still wanted to make our Christmas fun even though it was the two of us, so I tried to think of celebration foods,  didn't turn out the greatest because of limited time but we ate and went to bed shortly after.   Christmas morning we were up pretty early (childlike excitement I guess)  haha.  I had to use the bathroom when I came back to bed I snuggled up to Daniel and just couldn't get back to sleep he woke up to my kissing of the neck and asked if I was excited to open gifts, I said alittle bit.   So we went in and opened our gifts.  Daniel spoiled me for sure,  my stocking had not one but two Taco time sauce bottles.  I love that stuff.  I had tons of candy in there too.
Presents include:
earings
new set of scriptures with my married name on them\
gift card to Tai Pan ( went later and got a cute xoxo sign for Valentines Day)
A personalized CD burned with some of my favorite songs.

Daniels Presents for me:
count of monte cristo the book
two nike shirts
nike elite socks
french cuff shirt
itunes gift card

We also got some great gifts from our parents and siblings that had drawn our name.

After opening gifts we went and made breakfast and then fell asleep on the living room floor.  We woke up and got ready for the day and headed out.  We went to Hepworths first and saw all of there presents and then to my parents for dinner and playing of games.   We came home and spent the rest of the night together.   We both decided that it definately was a different Christmas then we'd had in the past and for sure children make it funner.
